Juicing Is The Way To Go

It seems that the best way you can get your nutrients in a tasty way is to juice your fruits and vegetables. By drinking the nutrients in this form you bypass the digestive process the fruits and vegetables would have to undergo and can speed the vitamins and minerals to the blood stream.
When you Juice your fruits and vegetables in a juicer you divide the liquid from the fibrous pulp. This is a good way to get the vitamins into your system your body is unable to make on its own.
When you look at a juicer you should realize that a juicer is not a blender. A blender will chop the food into a mushy mixture of fluids and pulp. This is not what you want to go for if you are juicing. What you are looking for is a liquid separated from the pulp.
Juicing is the way to go.
There are two types of juicers you will be looking for. They are the centrifugal juicers and the masticating juicer.
The centrifugal unit will separate the juice from the pulp by using spinning blades. The price for this type of unit may range from $50.00 to $400.00 depending on the features it comes with.
The second type, the masticating juicer will chop the food and make a paste of the pulp and juice which will then be squeezed out through a screen. You will be able to find this type of juicer in the price range of $250.00 to $500.00.
Here are a few links to juicers you can buy:
Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juice Extractor
Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer - Black and Chrome
Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor
Both types of juicers will be sold at stores or online. You will be purchasing them according to your requirement and budget. When you do, look for the warranty.
When you do juice, be sure to wash all your produce thoroughly before you start the juicing. You should be able to use the stems and leaves as they could be rich in nutrients. But leave the pits alone. They could be bitter and besides the pits will cause damage to your blades.
When you are doing fruits such as oranges and bananas don’t juice the outer skins. This holds also for all citrus fruits.
In your preparation cut and dice the fruits and vegetables before juicing
.               Don’t try to juice the overripe produce as this will tend to clog your unit. And don’t overstuff your unit with produce.
In your preparation you should strive to only make enough juice to be drunk that day. You should drink your juice within 20 minutes of preparation or it will tend to lose its potency.
There is a best time to drink your juice. That window is 20 to 30 minutes before a meal or 1 hour after meals. This seems to be the time your body is able to absorb more nutrients from the juice. Not during the meal as the food may slow down or neutralize the nutrients that would be derived from the drink.
Not all your juice will be consumed at one sitting and you may want to store it in the refrigerator. Do so for no longer than 48 hours if you are counting on the full benefits of juicing.
With the left over pulp you will get, you can use it as a beauty mask or in a stew or casserole. No waste.
Remember that juicing does not replace healthy eating habits
