Men Need It

prostate relief

Men. Let me take a while to talk about something you have and need to keep in shape.
As we age, a little walnut sized gland  located below the urinary bladder and directly in front of the rectum. starts to enlarge. It sits below the bladder.
The gland itself weighs about 20 grams. But as it enlarges it can press against the urethra, a tube through which urine is passed. As it presses against the urethra it restricts the flow and makes peeing slow.
You can take saw palmetto to help ease the muscle. It is common for men over the age of 50 to have some enlargement.
The enlarged prostate can squeeze the urethra and cause frequent urination or even difficulty at times peeing..
It can be treated with drugs but I prefer a man start with taking saw palmetto. Drugs may be harmful.
You are able to order saw palmetto on line. Let me direct you to my store. Click on the underlined words and you will be taken there.

Vitamin Information On the Internet May Not Be Positive

Recently I was going through the internet looking for information on vitamins. I started noticing strange things. Not all the information on the internet is for vitamin supplementation.
That is strange since I am  sure we don't get enough fruits and vegetables in our die daily to be able to give up supplementation all together.
Of course I may have been pulling up other vitamin store information., And you know they are trying hard to have you buy vitamins from them. But then again I was noticing these are articles from other magazines, not from other dealers.
The Atlantic warns against large supplementation doses. Okay. I am not for large doses either. I will say take it carefully. But I will also provide it for you. I am not at all for toxicity of the product. That would be a misuse of the product.
The word says it all--supplement. Not replacement'
So, okay, vitamin information on the internet may not be positive. They are trying tro reach a large audience. But I want to say a supplement, if properly used, is good.
One article says not to take C, D, E, A and beta carotene or multivitamins. I don't go that far.
I will say be careful. Talk to your care provider. Vitamins are considered drugs that are untested by the FDA.  But if used properly they can only help. Remember the word Supplements.
A supplement is something you use in addition to- not in place of.
Vitamins are not the replacement for food. The are in addition to.

You get up in the morning and you want to rush to work.  You speed through the morning duty of washing your face. Shaving, if you are a man, whatever if you are a woman. Dressing. Maybe shove down a piece of toast. Drink quickly your coffee.
Stop. Don't forget your mutivitamin. You are not getting any grersat nutrition if any from what you just bolted down. A mutivitamin will start the cycle youre body needs to repair itself and equip itself for the day.
Try this multivitamin made from real whole food. Plants such as alfalfa and herbs are mixed together and put in this pack of multivitamins. Buy the 31-day pack with the container and after that you can buy the refill that coasts a bit less because you already have the container.NUTRILITE® DOUBLE X® Vitamin/Mineral/Phytonutrient - Case with 31-day Supply

Food Can Make You Healthy

Eat Fruits and Vegetables
We need to be eating whole foods. Processed foods take out what is beneficial to our bodies and bring about a lack our body strives to replace. And we get depleted.
Yes, our bodies do manufacture some nutrients. We seem  able to synthasize from the food we eat and the phytochemicals produced from the food a substance that helps us combat disease and enhance well-being.
      Long sentence, isn't it?
It is just to say we need to eat a diversity of foods. The foods will work together to promote good health.
But what ever we take in must be bioavailable. It must be useable, is all I am trying to say.
Let's face it.. not everyone is going to eat whole foods. There is a vast need for supplements.
Hippocrates has said, "Let medicine be your food, and food your medicine"
Did he know something we don't? In his day there were no McDonald's or Jack in The Box. But I am sure there were fast food junkies who were trying to push the benefits of eat and run.
Food may even effect our mood, our memory, longevity, and immune response If this is so we should be very careful what we eat.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables since this is a way to get more nutrients directly.
Keep up the comments. Please feel free to respond..

Eat Those Fruits And Vegetables

The best thing you can do for your health and your well-being is to eat your fruits and vegetables. I meant. If we just ate enough fruits and vegetables ( and I am not sure what the current suggestion is) and kept off the junk food we can have a longer life.
That meal would also be anti-aging.
Basic truth is the free radicals in the body speed up the aging. Taking your anti-oxidants, of which there are a lot in the fruits and vegetables give us a handful of the needed antioxidants.. The rest we can supplement.
Since an idea is that free radicals rust the cells so they mutate and become cancer cells, having antioxidants, which patch up the free radical so it does less damage, is a good idea.
You can always go to my store and take a look and buy what you need.
Meanwhile and along with buying from my store eat those fruits and vegetables.
