Resveratrol may Extend Life

You have heard lately about the qualities of dark chocolate and red Wine to fight aging.
Well, I don't know if they are true. I am not for sugars and alcohol
The story is that recently the journal Science published a finding that seemed to indicare that they contain amounts of  a nutrient called Resveratrol. It has been reported that Resteratrol can  rev up the body's cellular defenses against aging and diseases.
There is a mass appeal to these findings. It is believed Resveratrol  could improve heart function in people.
Testings have been done on mice, fish, flies, and worms. The thing is, a human is not any of those creatures.
Anyway, for the effects to be good human would have to consume, it has been reported, about 100 bottles of wine each day to be able to get enough Resveratrol to be any good.
We can get a small amount of this nutrient from grapes, peanuts, cocoa and berries so we do get some. It does something at the cellullar level.
As for now our dark chocolate and a little red wine can't hurt. There is so much about the body and its nutrients that we still don't know.
